Fortiv Secures €3M Seed Round to Reinvent Business Continuity with AI

COPENHAGEN – Fortiv, the AI-native platform designed to transform how enterprises manage resilience, today announced it has raised €3M in a Seed funding round led by Seed Capital. The investment will accelerate the company's mission to eliminate the manual burden of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and help organizations navigate an increasingly volatile global landscape.

The End of the Spreadsheet Era

For decades, Business Continuity has been a reactive discipline defined by static spreadsheets, manual data collection, and "check-the-box" compliance. In a world of intensifying cyber threats, geopolitical shifts, and climate disruptions, these legacy systems are no longer enough.

Fortiv is moving BCM from a seasonal administrative chore to an "always-on" strategic advantage. By leveraging autonomous AI agents, the platform automates up to 90% of the manual workflows typically required for resilience planning.

"Business continuity has been stuck in the past—complex, manual, and reactive," says Thomas Sehested, CEO and Co-Founder of Fortiv. "We’re building for the future. AI-powered, automated, and always-on. This funding helps us move faster in helping businesses prepare for the unplannable."

Autonomous Agents for Real-World Resilience

Unlike traditional BCM software that acts as a simple database, Fortiv’s AI agents work autonomously to:

  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Intelligent voice and text agents interview stakeholders across the organization to map dependencies in real-time.
  • Automate Compliance: The platform understands complex regulatory requirements (such as DORA and ISO 22301) and ensures documentation is always audit-ready.
  • Simulate Scenarios: Companies can run "What-If" simulations and 15-minute micro-drills to test their response to specific disruptions, moving from theory to readiness.

Emil Pfeiffer, CPO and Co-Founder of Fortiv, adds: "LLMs have changed the software landscape. We're using that power to solve real-world BCM challenges that legacy systems simply can't. Our goal is to give resilience teams their time back so they can focus on building true organizational strength rather than chasing updates."

Backed by Industry Expertise

The round was led by Seed Capital, Denmark's largest early-stage venture fund, known for backing category winners like Trustpilot, Lunar, and Vivino.

"Fortiv’s AI-native approach is exactly what the BCM space needs," says Geeta Schmidt, General Partner at Seed Capital. "In a world where resilience is no longer optional, Fortiv gives companies the tools to act faster and smarter. We believe the team has the deep domain expertise required to lead this category globally."

Looking Ahead

The new capital will be used to scale Fortiv’s engineering team and expand its go-to-market operations across Europe and North America. With a growing roster of customers in highly regulated industries like Financial Services, Manufacturing, and Energy, Fortiv is positioned to become the operating system for modern enterprise resilience.

For resilience teams ready to put compliance on autopilot and focus on "Real Resilience," Fortiv is now accepting new partners.
